SOMEONE MAY HAVE ALREADY ASKED

1) Shopping Basics

Just for the record. How would a complaint be handled?

Even a master makes mistakes sometimes. We do our best to keep everything perfect, but sometimes things just don’t work out. To resolve any issues as quickly as possible, open the Claims, Returns, Exchanges page and describe what happened so we can sort it out.

Oh, no, something went wrong with the payment. What should I do?

If it goes wrong during the payment, there is no need to create another order. Email info@angrybeards.cz and we’ll take care of everything.

If you don't want to wait, you'll find payment details for bank transfer in each order confirmation. So even if the online payment via Comgate doesn’t go through, you can still manage on your own. Just don't forget the variable symbol so we can pair it with the correct order.

Can I pick up my items in person?

Yes, just choose personal pick up in your order and select a time. Then come to the address Modřínová 1099, Třebíč.

For personal pick-up you can also use Pikito branches in Prague and Bratislava, you can find this option directly in the order on the website.

I want to order cash on delivery, is it possible?

We don’t send cash on delivery. In the beginning we offered cash on delivery, but a lot of goods were returned to us, so we decided not to offer this option at all. We’re trying to improve our packaging, ship ASAP, and we want happy customers who come back for our products, not products that come back.

We keep our word and always send you everything you pay for. And usually a little something extra. But if you won’t take no for answer and need to pay cash on delivery because you don't trust digital money, email us at info@angrybeards.cz and we'll work something out.

Do you ship abroad?

We currently have our own e-shops in Slovakia and Poland. If you need delivery somewhere else, feel free to write to us and we will definitely arrange it.

2) Angry Beards Cosmetics

Should I prepare my skin somehow before applying Doping?

If you can, it’s good to wash your skin before doping. Ideally with warm water and a facial cleanser. You’ll get rid of the grease and the warm water will open your pores. If you want to be thorough, you can also use a scrub to remove dead skin cells and make it a little easier for Doping to penetrate your skin. We're talking beardless skin or minimal beard. If you’re going to put in an already burly beard, don't overdo it with scrubbing and washing. It’s more about being sensitive and ideally using beard products, like our beard shampoo. Otherwise, water and a pre-heating will do.

How should I combine the Roller and Doping?

After rolling, your skin will be pissed off and anything else might not do it any good. So, it’s a good idea to roll in the evening when you know you’re not going anywhere and let the skin rest after you’ve pricked it. Slap some stuff on it in the morning. But we’re all individuals and exceptions prove the rule, as they say, so try what works for you.

How should I combine Doping and anything else?

Doping is the only stuff designed specifically for the skin, so put it on first and try to get it all the way onto your skin so that you lose as little liquid gold in your growth as possible. On the other hand, everything else (oil, balm, wax) is primarily for the beard, and it's supposed to be lightly worked into the skin. So, dope first, take at least 10 minutes break, and then add anything else for the beard. If your beard hasn’t sprouted properly yet, we recommend you wait before buying anything else. Neither the oil nor the balm will promote growth in any significant way; they are mainly there to give the already grown beard what it needs.

Can I shave and use Doping?

What can we say, if you want to shave, then shave, but we’re generally against it. Trimming, now that’s something different, may the beard be groomed, yes, but shaving… Anyway, this is a recurring issue, and if you have to shave for some reason, we recommend not to dope right after shaving. The skin is irritated, and it might be unpleasant. Shaving generally doesn’t improve beard growth or thickness - that’s a myth. The only reason it would make sense to shorten your beard when using Doping is for easier application. But you can definitely put it on through your beard, it just takes more time and it's true, there's always a little left in your beard. If you want to shave, we recommend trimming it to 1 mm, but don't shave down to the skin. And definitely don't shave it smooth, so that you don't mow down the puppies that are just starting to hatch thanks to Doping.

How quickly do you see results from Doping?

This depends on 6,969,420 factors. There’s just no way to tell. Some people see results after a month, some after two/three/four. And some never at all. We get the biggest response within two months or so, but the exceptions prove the rule, whatever that nonsensical saying means. In general, we’d recommend giving it at least 4 months before you throw in the towel with Doping. However, Doping isn’t the only weapon in your growth arsenal, and you can always reinforce it with Roller and Beardroids. But if you have any doubts, get in touch with us and we’ll try to work something out. Or just assume you don’t have the genetics for a beefy beard, and you’ll have to lure chicks with your fat bank account.

Do my new whiskers fall out when I stop using Doping?

Doping stimulates roots and growth by providing nutrients and blood supply to them. Importantly, doping also softens the skin so that your beard grows through it more easily. When all goes well, even the laziest beard that didn’t grow before starts to come to life. But if you take it off Doping too soon, it won’t be awake enough to survive without the stimulus, and it’ll shrivel up again. It isn’t ready to finish the cure until it seems strong enough (like a normal beard). You’ll have to make the call yourself though, generally it shouldn’t take more than about 4 months.

Honestly, I’m deciding between Minoxidil and Doping. How is Doping better?

We personally would not get into Minoxidil, or we take it as a last resort. It has satisfied customers, we'd be interested too, but for now it's a banned ingredient in the EU for use in cosmetic products. Plus, the only way to get it on the market today is in a brutal mix of minoxidil and alcohol, which will totally dry your bird out.

Our Doping has the active ingredient copexil in it, which is a bit gentler. We’ve also added vanillyl butyl ether to Doping with a host of moisturizing and nourishing ingredients. We’ll bet our life on Doping, but it obviously won’t work for everyone. It works well for us, but if it didn't, we'd be more likely to try Copenhagen Grooming. If even that didn't start growth, we'd sacrifice a virgin and then maybe reach for something with minoxidil. That’s probably how we’d do it.

Can anything happen during lovemaking after using Doping?

If you’re sharing Doping with your partner almost every night, we’d recommend using Doping after the fun, or maybe as soon as you get home. Unless the fun starts at the door: “Hello, I’m Helmut, chimney cleaner.” – “Hello, come on in, my chimney needs unblocking.” Well, in that case, you’re probably so fortunate that you’re not missing a beard. It's theoretically possible that your darling’s facial and body hair could grow more if the connection between her body and your drugged-up chin is too frequent. In that case, try a different regimen and dope up in the morning before you go to work. Or just stay celibate for 2 hours after doping and keep your hands in your pockets. Otherwise, it’s totally fine if you’re willing to share the Doping.

How should I combine oil, balm, and wax?

Oil and balm are quite similar products. The average beardie doesn't need to put both on at the same time. If that’s what happens to work for you, we’re not arguing, but in general, nope. But if yes, then oil first and then balm.

Also apply the wax after the oil/balm or mix it on your palm with a little balm for optimal styling power and apply it all at once. Generally, though, the beard isn't as grippy after the oil, so it's possible that the balm/wax won't hold as well. The ideal is to use an oil when you're going to be indoors, but for outdoors, go for a balm as it will protect the beard from the harsh outdoor elements (wind, rain, UV). Then apply the wax for even harder styling and you'll get a level of protection.

And if you've read this long answer all the way to here, you probably have a long beard. Then you can use the oil only on the end of the beard because that's where the beard is the driest. Then balm on the cheeks and moustache. But at the end of the day, the alpha and omega is how it works for you, not what some jerk on the internet tells you to do.

My beard is growing in the wrong direction in one place. What can I do about it?

The roots of the beard can be slowly turned wherever you wish. But it’s a long run, over and over again. If you hurry, the most you’ll do is screw it up. Always brush it in the direction you'd like it to go after warming it up (e.g., with a shower/bath/steamed towel). And you can even use wax or conditioner to fix it in position so that the roots slowly turn during the day.

My whiskers aren’t a uniform color. Are they missing something?

They may be missing something, but a different color is not an indicator of that. It’s genetic, just like hair color. A beard doesn’t usually have to be the same color as the hair, just like a dick beard. It’s perfectly normal to have a rust-colored gradient in your beard, even if you’re blonde. There’s nothing at all wrong, and there are only two possible solutions. Dye it or proudly accept the uniqueness that's been handed down to you. But that depends entirely on you. Well, and how weird it looks.

My beard is breaking and fraying, what can I do?

It is most likely lacking nutrients and hydration. We'd recommend starting with Beard Hydro to quench the thirst of your beard and the skin underneath. After Hydro comes an oil or balm to help keep the hydration in your beard longer while feeding the beard and skin with gourmet beard food. For those with high standards, we recommend premium Beard Jelly instead of oil. In the end, all you have to do is wax your longer beard to the desired shape.

In addition to this regular routine, you can combat weak beards on other fronts. Try using special beard shampoo that won’t destroy it as much. If you’re worried about dandruff, try an anti-dandruff shampoo. And if your beard is dry as a bone, top it off with a drop of beard conditioner after every wash. In any case, don’t push any scratching, brushing or combing of your beard more than once a day. And never when it’s dry (after applying hydro/oil/balm).

Simply give your beard nutrients and peace of mind. Definitely don’t shampoo daily, don't blow dry too often, and try to incorporate a healthy lifestyle, sleep, and overall stress-free calm into your life. You'll see that your beard hairs will grow thick as nails.

Do Angry Beards products have a shelf life?

Cosmetic products have a recommended shelf life of two years after manufacture. We brew several times a year and bottle everything fairly quickly. Once opened, we recommend consuming within six months, which is more than enough, so there’s no need to worry about shelf life. That’s all assuming you don’t only indulge your beard during the holidays, which I’m sure you don’t. Or do you?!

And is there an age limit?

Nothing in our cosmetics is age-restricted. On the other hand, you probably don’t need to use the stuff on your balls if they haven’t descended yet. Same goes for doping and promoting beard growth. So, you can use anything at any time, the question is whether it’s going to do you any good. If you want advice, feel free to email info@angrybeards.com and we’ll tell you.

3) Busy B Cosmetics

Where is it all right to apply Antirub?

Antirub is primarily intended for lubricating the inner thighs and underboobs. But you can rub it on other places where there’s friction. Like between your toes. Where Antirub doesn’t belong, and you really shouldn’t try it, is on wounds and mucous membranes.

Antirub comes in two versions. The ingredients are the same, the only difference is the packaging - a tin box or a stick with an applicator. Try it and see which suits you better.

Why do you add aluminium salts to antiperspirants?

With our cosmetics, we’re all about functionality. Aluminium salts help reduce sweating and odor, so effective antiperspirants can’t do without them. But we don’t use anything that has been proven to be harmful or banned. We always go by the book. We understand that this topic raises controversy and not everyone will agree. But the important thing for us is that you find something that works for you.

4) Calm B Underwear

What’s the deal with underwear cuts? Aren’t boxers like briefs?

Undewear is a sensitive area where correct terminology is essential. Unfortunately, the names of the different cuts in other languages are slightly confusing because they do not correspond to the English names. But don’t worry, we’ll make it clear so you can go for exactly what fits you best next time:

  • Loose trunks (boxers) for big guys and muscle men.
  • Boxer briefs with a longer leg are the universal choice for everyone.
  • Boxer briefs with a shorter leg (trunks) are ideal for muscle men and skinny guys.

Is Calm B the same as Angry Beards underwear used to be?

Yes and no. We’ve taken everything that worked for Angry Beards and squeezed a little more zen and comfort out of it. The Balls Holder boxers, the loose-fitting briefs, the Cockpit, it all deserved the utmost care. And to start taking underwear seriously and offering guys more, we've separated the entire category into a separate brand. A brand that isn’t driven by anger like Angry Beards, but is infused with peace and comfort. Be calm, and let's Calm B.
