We present you our Brushpick, or also a rake for leaves of the legend of Czech cinematography, Mr. Krytinář. Brush cleaning tool.
A respectable 6.5 cm wooden handle. Inserted 69 iron wires, that is basically our Brašpik. The ideal tool for cleaning all types of brushes.
It is a good idea to take care of the brush. Regularly pull out the beard caught between the bristles. This is good to do on a weekly basis, or depending on how often you brush and how much beard you have left in it. In addition to the beard, you will partially get out everything else and decently wipe the bristles from balms and other products that stick to them. More thorough cleaning with soap is good every six months, again at your own discretion. Scrub the brush with shampoo, rinse and dry thoroughly in a towel. Then blow it with hairdryer and allow it to dry overnight on the windowsill above the heater to remove all moisture from the bristles.
The brush takes care of you quite possibly every day so it's only fair to take care of it as well. On a weekly basis, or whenever you remember, brush it with Brushpick. You will get out not only beards, but also dust and anything else that can be caught between the bristles.
Not drastically, but it also decently works as a trowel on sediment on bristles. You always brush after applying oil / balm or something else, at least we firmly hope so, and all of these products remain in part on the bristles. It is layered there, and if nothing is done about it, it is not entirely ideal.
The advantages over plastic alternatives are clear. The disadvantage is that you could theoretically scratch the brush when cleaning. The bend of the wires is not completely perpendicular and is also no longer than the bristles of the brush. With normal use, you will not reach the woor there. But always clean the brush with sense and care.
